The Restaurant Worker`s Handbook:A Practical Guide to Restaurant Magic by Jim Pace and Jerry MacGregor

The Restaurant Worker`s Handbook is book by magicians Jim Pace and Jerry MacGregor publish by Murphy`s Magic Supplies, Inc. (2007).First published in 1996 by A-1 MultiMedia.

As stated on the cover, this is "A practical guide to restaurant magic" and if you want to start doing restaurant magic, then I can highly recommend this book.

On 154 pages, divided in four main sections you will find great advice and lot of information from two experienced magicians on how to work as magician at restaurant.

Each chapter is short, easy to follow and gives a lot of food for thought.

Jim and Jerry lead you step by step through many aspects of restaurant work including how to start, how to set a price, dealing with your audiences among other topics.

Apart from the theoretical aspect section three gives suggestions for effects suitable to this type of work from their own repertoire (openers, strong middle routines, closers).

I bought this book from Penguin Magic when it was on sale (thank you Penguin) with some other books, and I am happy with this investment.

Definitely worth buying and studying!
